Q: What fuel does my Go-Ped® use and how do I mix it?
A: You should fill your Go-Ped with 87 Octane Gasoline and a High Quality 2-Cycle Engine Oil. You should follow your owner's manual for the correct mixture of gasoline to oil. See our Goped model matrix for more info.

Q: What Routine Maintenance does my Go-Ped require?
A: Go-Peds require very little maintenance but from time to time you should check your spark plug, air cleaner foam element, handle bar hinge, and make sure to clean your carb!

Q: How do I replace the Handle Bar Grips?
A: This is a very easy procedure. First get yourself some aerosol Hair Spray to spray between the grip and handlebar after peeling back the edge of the original handgrip. The hairspray will work as a lubricant between the handgrip and handlebar. Work the grip back and forth while twisting to remove. Then clean the handlebar and apply water to the inside of the new grip. Slide the new grip on and let it dry overnight!

Q: My Go-Ped is surging and hesitating! What can I do to fix it?
A: Try cleaning the carb jet and seat with some Carb Cleaner to see if that fixes the problem.

Q: How do I replace my Rear Wheel?
A: Loosen the Quick-Release lever on the right side of the axle then hold the Quick-Release lever and spin off the wing nut on the left end of the axle. Withdraw the axle from the frame and wheel then install the replacement wheel and spacer washers by reversing the procedure. Be sure to properly adjust the pressure between the tire and drive spindle. Engage the engine protection washer against the tank spacer on the Go-Ped's frame. Once you have the wingnut good and tight, tighten the Quick-Release lever.

Q: How do I replace my Drive Spindle?
A: This is a multi-step process, Please follow Directions below:

1. Remove the rear wheel, tire, and fuel tank.
2. Remove the 3 nuts holding the fuel tank on.
3. Use a 5mm Allen Key to remove the spindle. Use a pair of vice grips on the other end to keep the spindle from spinning.
4. The drive spindle is taper-fit onto the conical end of the engine crankshaft. It will be extremely hard to remove but DO NOT strike it with a hammer. Rather, to loosen the taper-fit connection, first drip several drops of Liquid-Wrench or PB Blaster into the hole that the bolt came out of. Then set the Go-Ped over on its side so that the oil will go down into the joint between the spindle and the crankshaft.
5. Let the Go-Ped sit for at least half an hour and then insert a small-diameter Phillips-head screwdriver into the hole in the end of the crankshaft where the Allen bolt was. Rotate the screwdriver in a circular motion inside the hole while applying pressure to the rim of the spindle using a flathead screwdriver wedged underneath. Continue stirring the screwdriver around in the hole until the spindle slides off!
6. Clean the crankshaft and the internal taper of the new spindle, then press the new spindle into place.
7. Then thread the 5mm allen bolt into the new spindle with a drop of LocTite Blue.
8. Reinstall the fuel tank and rear wheel with the proper 75lbs of pressure and you are DONE!

Q: My Go-Ped won't start or starts and dies?!
A: Your engine is either flooded or your spark plug has fouled.

1. Remove the spark plug from the cylinder head using an 19mm deep socket
2. Open the choke and have someone hold the Go-Ped upside down with the spark plug opening facing the ground.
3. Gently pull the recoil starter handle 10 to 15 times to help clear any fuel/oil mixture from the cylinder.
4. Clean and dry the plug with a clean, soft cloth and reinstall it. Make sure to not overtighten the plug.
5. Do NOT prime the carburetor, instead put the Go-Ped up on the centerstand and try starting it again. It should start up after a couple of pulls but be careful not to over-prime the engine on warm/hot days.
6. Once the GoPed starts, open the choke lever.

Q: How can I make my Go-Ped faster for cheap?
A: Install a Rocket Key and/or install a larger diameter Drive Spindle.

Q: How do I install a third-bearing spindle support on my Go-Ped GSR?
A: Follow these easy steps!

1. Remove rear wheel and tank
2. Remove the stock spindle (directions above).
3. Install the new spindle and support plate.
4. Re-install the rear wheel and tank.
